No dia 24 de Março vai realizar-se uma conferência de materiais sobre tema  “Cimentos”, com os oradores Prof. João Labrincha e com o Augusto Miragaia, Director da Secil. No dia 7 de Abril a conferência será sobre “Vidros” cujas palestrantes serão a Eng. Ana Gil, da Atlantis, e a Prof. Maria Helena Fernandes. Ambas as actividades organizadas pelo Núcleo de Estudantes de Materiais da Associação Académica da  Universidade de Aveiro, terão lugar no Departamento de Engenharia Cerâmica e do Vidro, com início ás 15h.
